About McIntosh
My Story
Mindy McIntosh-Shetter is an agricultural blogger and video blogger (vlogger) who shares her gardening knowledge through published works found online and in books. Her vast knowledge is an accumulation of life experiences and a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture Education along with minors in science from Purdue University in Indiana. She also has a Masters of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Louisville in Kentucky.
A new approach to gardening, which Mindy has coined as historical botany, combines ethnobotany and gardening with a story. Utilizing her educational background, Mindy has found an interesting and intriguing way of reaching history lovers, gardeners, and the famous Outlander lovers.
As an environmentalist at heart, she specializes in teaching people how to garden organically. While encouraging those who think they cannot garden to take spade to the soil, regardless if you are an urban or landless gardener. To spread her knowledge, one day she hopes to garden right alongside you with her own hologram that will guide the gardener to garden thru space and thyme.
